Croudace Homes has switched its company car supplier to Zenith in an effort to reduce internal administration, improve vehicle choice for drivers and reduce total fleet spend.

Zenith conducted a wholelife cost analysis to enable them to advise Croudace Homes on the vehicle choice lists. This led to revised choice lists with more efficient vehicles and a higher standard specification.

The aim was to provide an improved benefit for their company car drivers, at no additional cost to Croudace Homes.

In fact, using the new wholelife cost methodology has led to financial savings for the company, as it has enabled the selection of more tax, fuel and cost efficient vehicles on the basis of their true cost of ownership.

Zenith is providing funding for all new car orders and fleet management for 110 existing legacy vehicles.

It has also created an online web platform for Croudace Homes’ drivers to order new vehicles. The new website can be used to compare cars on choice lists, add additional options and review specifications.

Drivers can also carry out tasks relating to the in-life activity of vehicles, such as arranging maintenance or overseas travel documents.

Sarah Keel, Croudace Homes’ group HR manager, said: “We set out to reduce internal administration and total fleet spend, whilst improving the car benefit available to our employee base. Having had previous dealings with Zenith, we knew they could deliver to our requirements and are delighted to appoint them as our supplier.”
