New Mazda CX-5 introduces Skyactiv technology

The new Mazda CX-5 compact crossover is expected to account for over 4000 UK sales in its first year and its arrival of the new SKYACTIV technology and the Japanese company's new KODO Soul of Motion Design direction.

“The arrival of Mazda’s first vehicle with its innovative SKYACTIV technology is about to transform the Compact SUV segment in Britain,” comments Peter Allibon, sales director, Mazda UK.

“SKYACTIV technology runs through every element of the car allowing Mazda to build a Compact SUV that delivers class-leading CO2 emissions and outstanding fuel consumption. This is offered without compromising the driving dynamics or price competitiveness, unlike many other brands with eco sub brands or hybrid and electric vehicle alternatives,” says Allibon.

On sale from 18 May in the UK priced from £21,395 to £28,795 OTR.
