CitySprint celebrated a successful evening at this year’s IOC National Courier Awards with two members of its fleet and one employee picking up awards.

Garry Thomas, based in CitySprint’s Milton Keynes service centre, was awarded in the ‘Contract Employee’ category and commended for his positive, hard-working attitude and ability to motivate his team.

Meanwhile, London-based “pushie” Nicholas L’estrange-West was a ‘Two Wheel’ award winner, praised for his speed, reliability and likeability among the CitySprint client base.

And Glynn Smith, from CitySprint’s Telford service centre, also claimed an award, this time for the ‘Four Wheel’ category. The judges applauded him for his professional manner when dealing with more sensitive, complex jobs.

The National Courier Awards, now in its 16th year, recognise and reward excellence in the delivery field.

Patrick Gallagher, CEO, CitySprint said: “We are thrilled for our winners. To have one winner is amazing, but to have three just goes to show the standards our couriers and employees have set in the industry. Once again, I’d like to thank them for all their hard work, they are a real credit to the CitySprint family.”
