Special Edition Smart fortwo iceshine available to pre-order

The new smart fortwo edition iceshine, the latest in a long line of limited edition smart models, is launched.

Available to pre-order now as a coupé or cabrio from smart retailers nationwide ahead of its October arrival, the smart fortwo edition iceshine comes in striking azure blue with a white tridion safety cell that is complemented by new 3-double-spoke, 15” white alloy wheels and white mirror caps. LED daytime running lights enhance an impressive specification that also features air conditioning, a panoramic roof (tritop fabric soft top in black for the cabrio), electric windows and a luggage compartment cover.

A sporty and stylish interior includes exclusive leather-effect seats with a white fabric insert on the backrest and white stitching, a 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel with shift paddles and white stitching plus white accent parts. iceshine edition logos are incorporated into the floor mats and wing mirror triangles.

Only 155 smart fortwo edition iceshines will be available in the UK, with customers able to choose between two petrol engines – the 71 bhp (52 kW) mhd or 84 bhp (62 kW) turbo. Prices start from £10,500 on-the-road.

Gary Savage, managing director, Mercedes-Benz Cars, said:“The smart fortwo edition iceshine demonstrates once again how extensively the dynamic two-seater can be customised and provides would-be owners with a car that stands out on style and on price,” he added. “Customers can drive away this new smart which is packed with a huge array of additional equipment for just £250 more than a passion model.”
