Audi September sales hit all-time high

The crucial trading month of September has ended on a record high for Audi UK, which has posted an unprecedented total of 25,829 sales. These have also contributed to a new, all-time-high sales total of 114,261 cars for the year-to-date to the end of September.

Consistent customer demand in every month of 2013 has seen Audi sales in the UK rise sharply to surpass all previous years of its trading up to this point.  Buoyed by the exceptional additional September input, Audi UK customer deliveries are already nearing the brand’s 2012 full-year total of 123,622 cars.

A total of 47 models (or 21 separate model ‘silhouettes’) - the largest and widest product range ever to be offered in Great Britain - has contributed to the success of Audi in the UK this year . Recent important additions include the 3 range, which now offers three-door, five-door Sportback and Saloon options and will soon feature a Cabriolet, a new generation A8 luxury saloon range and a raft of new high performance RS models, the most recent being the 310PS RS Q3.

Head of sales Paul Sansom said: “Audi UK has achieved an all-time record for its new car sales in September, with literally thousands more cars reaching our customers than at this time last year. The scale of demand for Audi in the UK has never been stronger or more consistent, and despite these record sales numbers our future customer order bank is also at an all-time high. As our brand appeal mounts, our product range expands still further, and our levels of customer service continue to improve,  we confidently expect this upward sales consistency and pace to continue on this trajectory here in the UK.“
