Richards has a thorough knowledge of the contract hire and leasing industry having developed and won multi million pound tenders.

He also has expertise in project management; the management of high performance sales teams; and developing sales enhancing strategies.

In his new role, he will use his skills to develop the contract hire and leasing business for JCT600 with plans to implement a fleet sales strategy for the company within the next year.

He will also manage the five-strong team of corporate sales managers across JCT600’s volume and prestige fleet operations.

John Tordoff, chief executive of JCT600, said: “As a family owned business that puts the needs of its customer first, JCT600 has already established a strong reputation within the fleet industry.

“The company is continuing to invest in its fleet division and Neill’s appointment is part of our plan to make JCT600 the fleet dealer of choice in the coming years.”
Richards said: “I look forward to driving this strategy by developing bespoke service solutions that save companies cost through better operating efficiencies whilst still maintaining a quality offering.

“Our aim is to present a more cohesive offering to fleet customers encompassing the high levels of service for which JCT600 is renowned together with the skills of our specialist fleet team.”
