ACFO has launched a refreshed and redesigned website with added functionality and a greater focus on membership growth.

The developments coincide with Oxford-based communications agency JJ Marketing taking over responsibility as ACFO’s Membership Secretariat Office.

ACFO chairman Julie Jenner said: "April marks the start of a very exciting new phase in the 40-year history of ACFO and moves the organisation into the 21st century.

"The website is a key communication channel for ACFO members and is the first of a series of new initiatives designed to further increase membership as a result of our new JJ Marketing partnership.

"The launch of the new website highlights how we are already benefiting from JJ Marketing’s approach and fresh thinking. That will help drive ACFO’s further development and consequently, we believe, result in membership growth."

The redesigned website features a range of new interactive functionality including a forum enabling members to more easily ‘talk’ to each other and gain answers from their peers to help solve issues and fleet-related problems.

Additionally, the website features the very latest ACFO and industry news; a calendar of key ACFO and industry events that enables members to build their own ‘my events’ diary within their own website ‘dashboard’; and a library of documents including authoritative reports and details of new legislation.

Ms Jenner said: "Our new Membership Secretariat Office provider is a marketing specialist that we believe has the knowledge and expertise to further aid the positioning of ACFO as an organisation that can deliver a wide range of benefits to everyone in the public, private and voluntary sectors that has fleet responsibility.

"The launch of the new and enhanced ACFO website will be followed by other initiatives designed to further increase the significance and influence of ACFO across the fleet industry and with motor manufacturers and Government departments."
