Free shuttle bus to Fleet News CCIA

Fleet News will be putting on a free shuttle bus service for fleets attending the 2013 Company Car In Action driving event.

The buses will transport fleet managers and other key fleet decision makers from Milton Keynes train station to the driving venue at the illustrious Millbrook Proving Ground during the course of the two-day event on June 11 and 12.

Fleet News editor Stephen Briers said: “We are introducing this service for a number of reasons. We recognise that while Millbrook is centrally located, it is still a fair distance to drive for fleets in Scotland, the north of England, London, the south-west and Wales regions. From a duty of care point of view we don’t want to encourage people to drive long distances to a driving event, so we are putting on the shuttle buses so they can take the train instead.

“We also expect this service to be popular with public sector fleets who are encouraged to take the more environmentally friendly journey options such as the train, rather than driving.”
