Global public health organisation NSF International is consolidating its fleet management programme into one central solution offered by Pendragon Contracts.

It will enable the company to add value to its fleet policy while making savings across its 82-vehicle fleet.

Pendragon Contracts is working with NSF to rewrite its fleet policy by reviewing the car bandings to provide a more attractive and appropriate choice of vehicle for drivers depending on their market territory.

The fleet management company will deliver on-going support to the drivers and their vehicles, supplying replacement cars as the requirement arises.

As part of the tender, Pendragon Contracts also reviewed NSF’s fuel expenditure and demonstrated that by switching to its Shell fuel card scheme the company can deliver savings against normal pump prices thanks to the negotiated rates it enjoys with the fuel company.

In addition, by accessing Pendragon Contracts’ web-based management information resource NSF will reduce the time and cost burden of the whole fleet administration process.

Lesley Chipper, finance director EMEA at NSF, said: “We’re confident that by channelling our fleet requirements into one fleet management and contract hire specialist, the company will benefit from its expertise and buying power, enabling us to make savings and introduce a more attractive choice of vehicles to our drivers within their bandings.”

John Given, sales and marketing director at Pendragon, said: “By reviewing NSF’s fleet policy we will introduce vehicles that are fit for purpose.  For example, small prestige brands that are easy to park and are exempt from the congestion charge are more suitable for drivers in London rather than the other vehicles their drivers have previously been driving.

“Our winning tender was all about delivering greater value and a more flexible approach to meet the needs of the organisation.”
