Jane Roxburgh has been appointed as fleet and business sales manager for Progress Škoda. Operating across Bedford, Letchworth and Northampton, Progress Škoda, a family-owned retailer group, has made this appointment to help the business improve its potential in the fleet market.

Jane brings with her a wealth of automotive knowledge, with over fifteen years of experience working with Volkswagen Group UK.

Terence Byrne, managing director of Progress Škoda said: "This is a really exciting time for us here at Progress. In February, Škoda launched the third generation Škoda Octavia, a car that sets new standards in the compact sector, and the all-new Octavia vRS arrived in our showrooms last month. We have enjoyed remarkable success with the Škoda brand, and Jane’s appointment further strengthens our proposition for business users across all three sites.

“We are investing in each of our retail sites, refurbishing them in line with Škoda’s innovative new design language, and bringing on experienced and approachable staff like Jane, to ensure a first-class customer experience.”

Starting her career in local business sales for Wayside Volkswagen and Audi, Jane moved to Audi Central Ordering at Audi’s Milton Keynes headquarters. Jane was then appointed by Škoda UK, where she set up and managed a fleet support team as the brand expanded its fleet offering.

More recently, she helped to launch the manufacturer’s Fit for Fleet programme, an initiative that supported 40 selected retailers in delivering local business sales.
