The BVRLA has launched a campaign advising companies and consumers to ‘look for the logo’ when renting or leasing a car or commercial vehicle.

To provide extra marketing support to its members, the association has produced a new leaflet - Why use a BVRLA member? - which members can share with customers.

The leaflet highlights the BVRLA’s unique mandatory Code of Conduct, Quality Assurance programme and Conciliation Service as well as explaining how its members work together to promote best practice in providing safe, sustainable and affordable road transport.

As part of the campaign, the BVRLA has included an enlarged consumer section in its new website, providing much easier access to advice including: how vehicle rental can work for you; top tips for a stress-free rental experience; where to find a local rental operator, and; what to do at the end of a lease contract.

“We need to create a stronger awareness of the BVRLA and the benefits of booking with one of our members,” said BVRLA chief executive Gerry Keaney.

“Many public sector organisations already insist on working with a BVRLA member because they understand the role we play in maintaining standards and providing an avenue to resolve disputes in the event of a problem.

“By redesigning our website and producing this leaflet, we are giving our members even more reason to display their BVRLA logo with pride.”
