Volkswagen Group Leasing expands public sector sales team

Volkswagen Group Leasing, part of Volkswagen Financial Services (UK), has increased its sales team with the appointment of Phil Dorman as account manager for the public sector.

Dorman (40) will be managing accounts in the North of the UK, from Birmingham up into Scotland. He will be responsible for winning new accounts and retaining existing customers through the Government Procurement Service framework.

He was previously a regional sales manager at Volvo Group (UK) and he has experience working closely with NHS Trusts and Local Government organisations.

Dorman said: “With stringent budget controls and the necessity to ensure that all decisions are based on value for money, fleet managers within the public sector have a tough job to prove that any spending will result in better services to the tax payer.

“Volkswagen Group Leasing understands what is needed in this market and it is able to offer viable vehicle solutions that provide flexible finance packages and ultimately support better customer service objectives within the community.”
