Hull-based John Moore Security has taken delivery of 17 Seat Leons for its field engineers.

Sixteen of the vehicles are Leon ST (Sports Tourer) 1.6 TDi, while one is a similarly specified five door hatchback. All are black and the ST estates include roof rails to carry the engineers’ four metre ladders.

Jon Joyce, dealer principal of Peter Stockill, said: “It is really good for a Hull business to be doing business with another Hull-based business. The Leon is a great product while the freshness of the Leon ST has expanded the range to give extra carrying capacity for things like roof rails. When you sit behind the wheel of this car you can feel great quality.”

Joyce added: “The fact that we have a three model Leon range is a significant boost for our business sales department and this has been our biggest fleet handover this year. We try to focus on being a local-based company providing great customer service.

“The Seat Leon is becoming an increasingly popular company car as it boasts sporty looks compared to many other cars in its class, yet combines a great specification with excellent running costs.”

John Moore Security’s new fleet features models with efficiency-improving technology including a Start/Stop System and Energy Recovery System. They offer a combined mpg of 74.3 and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km. The solitary five door hatchback will be driven by a Quality Assurance Manager.

Lee Holgate, regional operations manager at John Moore Security, said: “When you see the Leon in the flesh you can appreciate what great quality the car possesses. These new SEAT Leons will make our fleet of company cars greener and leaner and save us cash.

“Peter Stockill Ltd provided us with great customer service."
