November saw the Renault UK Group post its 20th consecutive month of growth – a new global Renault Group record.

Its sales success has been helped by growth in the fleet market, with fleet registrations for Renault cars up 72% to 27,720 vehicles year-to-date, compared to the same period last year. That equates to a fleet market share of 2.6% up from 1.6%.

It’s achieved a similar sales success with its light commercial vehicle offering, which it has added new Trafic and Master to this year.

Total van registrations are 15,947 year-to-date, up 44.8% when compared to the same period last year, equating to a market share of 5.3%, up again on the 4.3% it achieved for the same period last year.

Darren Payne (pictured), Renault UK sales director, said: “So far in 2014 we have sold significantly more Renault cars and vans in fleet than we did last year.  This dramatic increase in sales has also been replicated in the retail sales channel to ensure a healthy and balanced mix of business for the Renault UK Group.

“The extraordinary growth has been fuelled by our new car and van models and is supported by the strength of our commercial team and the efforts of our dealer network.”
