Fleetster improves utilisation by 25%

Fleetster has lowered the costs and improved utilisation of Atomic Austria's fleet by 25%.

The firm chose Fleetster after testing of similar systems.

“Atomic is highly demanding regarding their own products. They cannot waste time and resources on car booking or monthly reporting”, explains Tim Ruhoff, CEO of Fleetster..

Besides saving time when booking and administering pool vehicles, the system reduces the costs of the fleet by increasing utilisation. An algorithm optimises the utilisation of the vehicles – usually by more than 25%. In most cases this allows for a reduction of the vehicle pool.

The firm also chose the system to help improve internal processes.

“In the ERP system fleetster bookings can be charged to different internal accounts. In addition, fleetster was successful in deploying the individual pricing structure of Atomic,” said Florian Buchsteiner of Atomic Austria GmbH.

Several aspects of traditional fleet management software packages are also available, e.g. reminder functions for maintenance intervals, logbooks, and a regular driver’s licence check.
