DE Group switch to contract hire with Pendragon

UK pharmaceutical wholesaler DE Group is switching from a flexi-lease car fleet contract to a multi-branded contract hire arrangement from Pendragon Contracts.

The move will deliver fixed cost motoring to DE, enabling the company to offer its fleet drivers higher specification vehicles that are both more cost and tax efficient. All vehicle choice lists have been capped at 130g/km.

Chris Gulliford, sales director at DE Group, says, “Our business continues to grow by offering exceptional value to customers through our strong buying power - we are looking to our suppliers for the same service.  Pendragon Contracts has demonstrated through its consultancy that tax and cost efficiencies are possible but not at the expense of a high quality choice list.”

John Given, sales & marketing director for Pendragon Contracts, added, “Our automotive pedigree ensures we can offer the solution that is right for the business, whether that’s about costs, quality of vehicle choice or environmental concerns. We have structured our proposition and services to DE Group’s specific requirements to ensure the fleet will operate more efficiently moving forward.”
