Škoda records 50% growth in true fleet

Škoda UK’s fleet operation is celebrating its most successful year ever with fleet sales of 38,332 and true fleet sales growth of 50%.

The amount of corporate customers grew 167%, corporate team sales were up 180%, and Motability volumes also increased 110% year-on-year.

Škoda’s fleet division, which is made up of a team of 17 people, was strengthened by a number of key appointments in 2014 including Davina West as business development manager.

This year sees the launch of the new Superb, following the recent launch of the new Fabia.

Fleet sales of the Octavia are also expected to rise, helping to increase the brand’s overall true fleet sales.

Patrick McGillycuddy (pictured), head of fleet for Škoda UK, said: “The whole fleet team has had an excellent 2014. With an exciting range of new products launching, the right systems in place and a dedicated team; we’re charged up and ready for an even better 2015."
