The number of vehicles available for fleet-decision makers to test at this year’s Company Car in Action is growing as more manufacturers sign up for the event.

A total of 17 vehicle manufacturers have confirmed their attendance at the UK’s premier fleet driving event, which takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire on June 12-13.

Manufacturers confirmed are Abarth, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Citroen, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Ford, Jeep, Kia, Maxus, MG, MINI, Peugeot, Polestar, Suzuki, Vauxhall and Volvo.

More than 200 full electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid vehicles can be comprehensively put through their paces on four courses offering different terrains: Alpine hill, high speed bowl, last mile delivery circuit and off-road route.

Lee Giddings, national fleet sales manager for Suzuki, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Company Car in Action again in 2024, of which we have been a strong advocate since our introduction into the fleet market in 2017.

“This year we will be focusing on the introduction of our all-new Swift. With many competitors pulling out of the b-segment market, we see Swift as a key player in the fleet market for 2024 and beyond.”

BMW’s UK general manager of corporate sales, Matt Collins, said: “Our electric line up continues to grow within the BMW Group in 2024 and Company Car in Action gives us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our exceptional product to the fleet market.

"For BMW, we are delighted to showcase our new models and variants, including the iX2 eDrive 20 and our i5 Sport Edition, which are both particularly attractive and affordable to fleet drivers. These will be available to drive alongside a range of our all-electric vehicles.

“We are also excited to give attendees the chance to experience the new MINI family. These models have been re-engineered from the ground up, allowing for bigger batteries and therefore much improved electric ranges.”

The event offers visitors the greatest opportunity for fleet decision-makers to find out which models will best suit their fleet choice lists over the coming years, with the emphasis on full electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid.

Away from the steering pad, CCIA also offers fleets the chance to network with major brands’ fleet teams as well as hear from expert speakers who will present on key topics in our daily seminar sessions, which includes advice on implementing a workplace electric vehicle charging scheme.
