Fuel and business expense payment company Allstar has announced a near-30% increase in the number of charge points available on its multi-branded EV charging network.

This follows three more charge point operators – Ionity, Raw Charging and Weev - joining the Allstar network.

It now has more than 18,000 charge points and more than 28,000 connectors; 99.5% of these are fast, rapid and ultra-rapid.

Ashley Tate, managing director of Allstar Chargepass UK, said: “It is increasingly clear that businesses are investing in their EV capabilities, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.

“That means ensuring that our network meets the changing needs of fleets. It’s essential they can not only easily access a charge point, but get back on the road as quickly as possible.”

Allstar launched its EV payment solution – Chargepass – in September last year and this allows electric company cars and vans to be charged at home and on the road, eliminating the need for separate transactions, with fleets billed via a single, monthly invoice.

At home, Chargepass calculates and pays for business-use EV charging directly to the energy provider, allowing fleets to replace employee reimbursement processes with a more accurate, controlled and streamlined alternative.

Beyond payments, Allstar Chargepass also aims to equip businesses with tools to manage their EV fleets via an online portal.

Valuable insights, including carbon intensity and emissions, cost per kWh, location, and duration of each charge, are available to help inform fleet decision-making and support businesses with their overall sustainability efforts.
