Fix Auto UK has welcomed Newcastle Accident Repair Centre to its network which will now operate as Fix Auto Newcastle.

The 11,000sq ft bodyshop is one of five repair centres within the Tyne Tees Vehicle Repair Group owned by Darren Norton.

A significant investment programme is planned for the site, which currently houses a single spraybooth, 18 work-bays and has a capacity to repair up to 40 vehicles a week.

The aim is to double this once the enhancements - which will include a secondary eight-bay spraybooth and additional equipment as well as new lighting - are completed in the autumn.

Norton said: “I have watched Fix Auto UK grow and develop, particularly over the last four years and, for me, joining is the natural step if I am going to continue to develop and expand further into the future.”
