ICFM welcomes short-term car hire and van company to investor programme

ICFM has welcomed Thrifty Car and Van Rental into its corporate investor programme, making it the first short term hire company to sign up.

Thrifty Car & Van Rental has joined at affiliate investor level, which enables the organisation to participate in ICFM events and gain access to the organisation’s resources.

The aim of the programme is to further raise the standards of fleet industry professionals and overcome a possible skills and knowledge shortage inside many employers.

Additionally, member businesses also become more closely involved in ICFM initiatives, which include training for employees, the organisation’s annual conference and masterclasses on key industry issues.

Thrifty Car & Van Rental’s sales director Caroline Gallagher said: “Fleet management has become increasingly challenging and we support the work of ICFM in its education and training programmes which reflect the needs in this ever-changing arena.

“Thrifty Car & Van Rental is delighted to join ICFM’s corporate investor programme and become more involved in the outstanding work it does to further professionalise the vehicle fleet management industry.
