ATS Euromaster has performed more than 500,000 digital vehicle health checks since it launched the service in 2019.

Designed as an efficiency initiative to replace the recording of vehicle checks on paper, ATS says the new digital system has been a “real hit with customers”.

The free service provides customers with a breakdown of the physical health of their cars - and is recorded automatically whether the visit is for a replacement tyre or a vehicle service.

Mark Holland, operation director at ATS Euromaster, said: “The free, comprehensive Digital Vehicle Health Check equips customers with all the information and details they need to help them ensure their vehicle is maintained to a high standard. When it comes to vehicle maintenance, transparency is key.

“There is no obligation for the customer to action any of the findings with us but we believe this service adds value to our business proposition as a trusted and transparent operation. It also demonstrates the expertise of ATS Euromaster not only in tyre repair and tyre-fitting but vehicle servicing and maintenance, too.

“We aim to enhance every customer's experience when visiting our centres and this free service is just one way we can do this.”

The digital vehicle health check covers items such as tyre condition, wheel alignment, brake condition, oil readings and the condition of key vehicle components.

David Goodyear, ATS Euromaster’s director of sales, added: “Throughout the pandemic, lockdowns and unpredictable weather, we have continued to develop our services to support drivers with greater vehicle insight, and as vehicle experts, support them in every aspect of their vehicle maintenance.”
