Green TV EV campaign manager Daveena Saranna has been awarded the prestigious Barbara Cox Woman of the Year title for 2025.
Organised by Cox Automotive Europe, the award aims to highlight those who have shown ‘inspiring leadership, a commitment to innovation and giving back to their community or industry’.
Judges say the award recognises Saranna’s work in the EV space in particular, promoting female representation in the industry, with her role leading Greet TV’s Top Women in EV platform a significant factor.
Saranna, who – at age 25 - became the youngest winner of the award in its seven-year-history, said: “I’m so happy to have won and grateful to the organisers for considering me for the award.
“I’m passionate about getting as many people involved in the EV industry, from as diverse a group as possible, and across all identities.
“Having inherited the Top Women in EV programme, I feel excited at the work that is being carried out, and proud to be putting my stamp on things.”
Saranna has focused on sustainable mobility throughout her career to date, with roles at Fully Charged Show’s Everything Electric and EZOO prior to her position at Green TV.
She is also working towards a third degree, a part-time masters in sustainable urban development at the University of Oxford.
