Flynt, a Dutch start-up, is planning to launch a new 3.5-tonne electric van in Europe, next year.
The company is working with partners to develop and produce a new range of vehicles.
Its first van is based on a platform from MiracoMotor - a dedicated eLCV spin-off backed by China's GAC Group.
“We’re not a carmaker in the traditional sense,” said Dr. Daniel Kirchert, founder of Flynt. “We’ve built a smarter, more flexible model - one that puts customer needs first, and uses the best global technology to deliver world-class electric vans faster and more cost-effectively than legacy players ever could.”
Flynt claims the van has a range of 310 miles, from its 100kWh battery.
It has a payload capacity of 8.7 - 16.5 cubic metres and a maximum payload of 1,630Kg.
Multiple versions will be offered, including front-, rear- and all-wheel-drive powertrain configurations.
DC fast charging at up to 220kW is possible, thanks to 800v electrical architecture. The van also supports AC charging at up to 22kW.
A prototype van will arrive in Europe this summer, where it will support ongoing pilot programs, customer showcases, and localised testing.
Flynt is preparing for an official market launch in its initial European markets starting in 2026, followed by a gradual ramp-up and phased expansion across all 26 target markets in the region.
