Agility Fleet appoints Lee O’Connell as sales director

Agility Fleet has announced the appointment of Lee O’Connell as sales director to support the continued growth the company has seen over the past few years.

O’Connell joined Agility Fleet from Vauxhall Motors where he worked in various roles for 16 years.

He has extensive experience in managing all aspects of fleet sales from a business development responsibility with leasing companies to managing large fleet customers.

He will be responsible for increasing Agility’s fleet of vehicles and further enhancing the complete offering available to our customers.

O’Connell said: “I’m delighted to have joined Agility Fleet as sales director. I’m looking forward to working with the sales team in order to continue the growth the business has seen over the last ten years.

“With over 16 years of experience in the leasing industry I feel I can bring fresh ideas and continue to move the business forward.”

Keith Townsend, managing director of Agility Fleet, added: “Our business has seen steady growth over the past few years mainly based through referrals from customers that have enjoyed exceptionally high standards of customer service.

“The addition of these new starters will allow the company to push further into the FN50 and we’re delighted to be able recruit such high calibre staff.”

Agility Fleet leapt to number 42 in the FN50, a listing of the top 50 biggest leasing companies in the UK and celebrated 10 years in business at the end of 2014.

O’Connell continued: “I was drawn to the role by the direction the company is moving, Agility Group not only have an indisputable reputation for their fleet solutions, they also have a distinguished portfolio of clients within the health and safety and employment law sector under their Agility UK Training and Consultancy division.

“This combination of services enables me to offer a bespoke solution to fleet managers by not only offering the essentials, but also the additional necessities some of which include; driver handbooks, duty of care policies and road risk safety procedures.”
