Business mobility specialist Alphabet has received highly commended recognition in the 2016 Low Carbon Champions Awards 2016 and the 2016 Workplace Savings & Benefits Awards.

The Low Carbon Champions Awards, presented by the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP), celebrate the achievements and innovations of organisations that support the UK’s move towards greener, lower carbon road transport.

Alphabet’s highly commended in the Low Carbon Vehicle Operator of the Year category reflected Alphabet’s work in creating compelling pathways for business and public sector fleets towards lower carbon, more sustainable business travel.

In addition, it also received a highly commended double in the 2016 Workplace Savings & Benefits Awards held in London.

The company was recognised in the category of car scheme provider of the year for its innovation in products and services, long-standing support of electric vehicles, as well as providing real world cost savings and benefits to its customers.

The AlphaGuide app, which launched earlier this year, was also recognised in the category of best use of technology for benefits.

Mark Gibson, head of marketing and business development at Alphabet, said: “We are delighted to receive highly commended recognition from both the Low Carbon Champions Awards and Workplace Savings & Benefits awards this year.

"These awards recognise our ongoing commitment and innovations in the area of low carbon travel and employee reward.

“For us the challenges of achieving carbon emissions reductions and increasing employee satisfaction provide new commercial opportunities – what is good for the environment is also good for business, our customers and their employees.

"Which is why with these three highly commended awards we’re particularly pleased to be recognised for our positive impact with customers in helping them to meet their sustainability responsibilities; as well as providing a range of different forms of corporate mobility which are highly regarded and valued by employees to help stay on the move safely, sustainably and effectively.”
