Driver gamification app available on Geotab telematics marketplace

D2GO Solutions has launched its Driver Challenge app on the Geotab Marketplace, for users of the company's telematics system.

The Driver Challenge will provide customers with an easy way to motivate and coach drivers, to keep them engaged and focused on company goals.

Studies repeatedly show significant increases in employee engagement, motivation and retention when using gamification in a learning environment.

“We put great effort into understanding the mechanisms that motivate users to improve their driving habits” said Louis-Philippe Papillon, vice-president at D2GO.

“Engaged drivers consistently produce great results, and The Driver Challenge uses proven techniques to help you maximize your employee engagement.”

“Retaining top talent is a common priority for our customers, making d2go and The Driver Challenge a great addition to the Geotab Marketplace,” said Neil Cawse, CEO, Geotab. “This integration offers a new way to engage, motivate and coach drivers ultimately increasing productivity and safety of their entire fleet.”

The Geotab Marketplace offers key applications to more than 14,000 Geotab customers and is on track to feature over 200 third party applications by the end of the year,
