Arval has announced a range of new offers for fleet decision-makers and their employees after reporting record-breaking growth in its global risk fleet.

The worldwide fleet increased by 7.4%, reaching 1,103,835 vehicles in 2017, but the leasing giant has no intention of resting on its laurels.

It has decided to boost the development of its electric vehicle (EV) offering by joining forces with Renault, Nissan and NewMotion,

It means Arval is now able to offer home and workplace charge-point installation, integrated payment solutions and EV digital services such as booking, consumption tracking and charging point location.

It also includes EV trial periods and additional services, including a petrol/diesel vehicle replacement option for short periods such as holidays.

Arval said the new package will be available in France, followed by the UK, Belgium, Norway, and the Netherlands (with another nine countries from the second quarter of 2018).

The company said it was another important and successful year for Arval UK. The final steps in integrating the GE Fleet business (people, systems, processes and data) were concluded in the early part of the year and its new Manchester office is now delivering important support to its corporate customers, it said.

This customer focus was reinforced by strong NPS scores, including great progress in the SME segments where it says it has improved significantly.

The funded fleet remained at more than 161,000 vehicles as it focused on all channels, investing time and resource into supporting key partners like the Federation of Small Businesses, and its brokers and dealers.

Miguel Cabaça, managing director of Arval UK, said: “I inherit the UK business with a fantastic team of people committed to delivering the best possible service for our customers. This will be pivotal in a difficult UK market context, where all participants have to deal with a high degree of uncertainty.

“It’s also an exciting time to be here, as we plan to build on our strong foundations with innovative new solutions and enhanced technology for the benefit of our existing customers and to reach new consumer audiences which we believe provide great potential for our business.”
