Chevin targets SMEs with new fleet management software package

Ashley Sowerby, Chevin

Chevin Fleet Solutions has launched a new SaaS (Software as a Service) fleet management package aimed at small and medium-sized companies.

The new product, FleetWave Core, is a pre-configured version of the company's enterprise fleet management software and is designed to support essential fleet, maintenance and compliance management responsibilities.

Ashley Sowerby, managing director at Chevin, said: “Core is comprised of all the key tools and reports that most organisations will need to run an effective fleet operation, and we are continuously updating the application with new features.

“Many organisations we speak to still rely on out-of-date legacy systems, spreadsheets and paper-based methods to manage their fleet.”

He said that compared to FleetWave and other products on the market, Core's pricing makes it more accessible for small and medium sized businesses, as well as larger fleets looking for a lower-cost alternative.

Chevin say this price reduction was primarily achieved by eliminating the project management and configuration services that are usually included.

FleetWave Core can be extended with a range of additional modules, tools, reports and configuration options.
