Fleetsmart doubles office space with Santander Business Banking

Fleetsmart’s managing director Nick Wilkinson

Wigan-based Fleetsmart has doubled its office space to cater for “record” product demand.

The move, supported by a significant commercial mortgage from Santander Business Banking, will allow the firm to secure more contracts and employ additional staff.

Fleetsmart’s managing director Nick Wilkinson said: “We have grown over time from a reseller to offering our own solution, tailored to fit individual business requirements – always with a strong focus on customer service.

“Today we own and develop bespoke systems and host the complete service in-house from start to finish. We have seen exceptional demand for our services and the new premises in Wigan will allow us to better manage this going forward.”

The funding from Santander Business Banking has helped the firm expand and invest for growth having reached a point where it needs additional space to cater for more clients and staff.

Santander Business Banking’s business relationship director Chris Green said: “We’re delighted to be able to support this innovative UK business to capitalise on strong market demand and double the size of its headquarters in Wigan.

"Fleetsmart has developed into a recognised, high quality brand at the forefront of the UK fleet and asset tracking market.”
