Incident management firm FMG is celebrating continued growth and success with a move to a new larger headquarters building.

One of Huddersfield’s largest private employers, with more than 400 people managing a 24/7 operation, FMG provides services for major fleet insurers, blue chip companies and large leasing providers.

Further predicted growth over the next 12 months is creating an ongoing recruitment drive to fill a range of new job opportunities.

As a result, FMG has outgrown its current facility, FMG House. Its new headquarters, Broad Lea House, will bring the entire organisation back under one roof with space for further growth. A renovation project is now underway, with FMG due to move in to Broad Lea House in September.

Harvey Stead, managing director at FMG, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for FMG. Our journey so far has been quite remarkable, from humble beginnings in a small office in Huddersfield town centre in 1986 to our current purpose-built head office which is now bursting at the seams.“

This year FMG has been recognised as one of the best companies to work for in the Sunday Times ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ list and won the Customer Service Award at the 2018 Fleet News Awards.

Harvey said: “We are committed to making FMG a great place to work, so we are immensely proud to be recognised nationally as a centre of employment excellence and a company which provides outstanding customer service.

“The future looks bright for FMG and our move to larger premises ensures we are prepared for the next chapter in FMG’s history.”

FMG provides incident management services on behalf of fleet insurers, insurance brokers, leasing providers and blue chip companies and operates as vehicle recovery partner for Highways England and a number of Police Forces.
