Four M Group Services businesses have received Occupational Health & Safety Awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents

Four M Group Services businesses have received occupational health and safety awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in recognition of their achievements in health and safety management systems.

Dedicated utility service provider Morrison Utility Services (MUS) won the Commercial Industry Sector Award for the eighth time.

Dyer & Butler, a specialist engineering service provider to transport infrastructure asset owners including airports, underground, rail and highways, received the President’s Award (its 13th consecutive gold award).

Its rail team achieved a gold medal (its seventh consecutive gold); Dyer & Butler Electrical, which specialises in delivering mechanical and electrical projects within airport, petrochemical, rail and industrial environments, achieved its third consecutive gold award.

President’s Awards were also presented to Dyer & Butler’s airport teams in conjunction with clients, Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport.

Morrison Data Services, a data services provider to energy and water utility retailers in the UK and Ireland, was presented with a RoSPA Silver Award, while M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions received the RoSPA Gold Award for Fleet Safety, in recognition of its support operations across all M Group Services businesses.

Jim Arnold, of M Group Services, said: “As a leading provider of essential infrastructure services in the UK and Ireland, safety is one of the core values for our sustainable growth.

"A consistent health and safety track record is a pre-requisite for the markets in which we operate and this recognition from RoSPA is testament to the strong health and safety values and practices that we maintain across our utilities, transport, telecom and data divisions.

"Moving forward, our objective is to continue to deliver exceptional health and safety performance on behalf of our people, our clients and all those who come into contact with our organisation.”
