Trakm8 has announced that it will support Brake by joining as a corporate partner, alongside Direct Line and FMG.

Trakm8 will work with Brake on a range of initiatives over the next 12 months, supporting the charity’s key objectives.

Trakm8’s managing director for fleet and optimisation Colin Ferguson said: “Trakm8’s driver behaviour analytics and vehicle cameras are proven to reduce the risk of a road traffic incident occurring, by encouraging a safer driving style.

“We therefore share common goals and objectives with Brake when it comes to road safety, so we are delighted to be recognised as one of the charity’s corporate partners.”

Brake spokesperson Mike Bristow said: “I applaud their dedication to supporting road crash victims, and passion for improving road safety.

"Their efforts are a fantastic example of how companies can get involved to improve road safety and Brake looks forward to a long-lasting partnership with Trakm8.”

Trakm8 has invited Brake to be one of the keynote speakers at its inaugural Safety and Efficiency Conference.

Taking place at Trakm8’s recently-acquired second facility in Coleshill, West Midlands, the conference will address key themes and challenges facing fleets and drivers, including the implementation of Clean Air Zones, and the potential impacts of Brexit.

An expert from Brake will give a presentation on the latest road safety data and give advice on actions that fleets can take to improve safety.

The inaugural Trakm8 Safety and Efficiency Conference takes place in Coleshill on October 3. Registration is open online.
