Manheim has announced a new five-year deal with Big Motoring World to remarket 50,000 part-exchange vehicles on a sole supplier basis.

The vehicles will be sold at weekly auctions through Manheim's Colchester centre.

The dealer group will also use Manheim to source stock, and buy 50,000 vehicles at auction over the term of the deal.

Big Motoring World is a car supermarket based in Kent, where it has three sales sites and a collection and preparation centre.

In addition to remarketing, Big Motoring World will continue to use valuation services from Cox Automotive, Manheim’s parent company, to drive its part-exchange process.

Martin Forbes, CEO at Cox Automotive UK, said: "This is great news for Cox Automotive that really demonstrates the importance of providing services that meet customer needs throughout the remarketing process.

"As a vendor and buyer, Big Motoring World is an important partner for us. I’m delighted that they have chosen to sign-up with Manheim on a sole-supplier basis.”

Peter Waddell, CEO of Big Motoring World, added: "We first used Manheim for stock disposal in 2012, and have always been impressed by their expertise and the level of service.

“As Big Motoring World continues to grow, we need a remarketing partner with the scale and flexibility to support us with both selling and sourcing stock. We’re confident that Manheim will do a great job, and looking forward to working with them over the next five years.”
