Manheim prepares for Marshall five-day mega event

Manheim has revealed a five-day mega event starting today (Monday, April 8), with more than 1,000 vehicles from Marshall Motor Group, as dealers look to capitalise on used stock.

The mega week will kick off with a 500 strong auction at Manheim Bristol, and continues with bumper auctions at Manheim Northampton, Online, Wimbledon, Colchester and Mansfield.

Marshall Motor Group’s commercial director John Head said: “Partnering with Manheim to offer large volumes of stock in a week-long event has proved a highly effective remarketing strategy for us.”

“There’s always an air of anticipation in the build up to the event, and the quantity and quality of stock on offer attracts strong buyer interest throughout the week.”

“We pride ourselves on building good relationships with our wholesale buyers, and Marshall Motor Group representatives will, as always be on the rostrum throughout the week to make decisions on the bids received.”

Manheim’s managing director Peter Bell said: “We enjoy working with our vendors to market their stock in the most effective way.

“Marshall Motor Group holds a successful weekly auction programme at Manheim, and events like this give us the opportunity to boost buyer engagement even further by promoting additional volume.”

The last Marshall Mega Week event held in October attracted 2,000 registered buyers and achieved a combined sales value of £4.1 million.
