Halliwell Jones has agreed a new two-year deal with BCA, while Manheim has renewed its long-standing partnership with Group 1 Automotive until the end of 2019.

The Halliwell Jones contract will see 3,500 vehicles remarketed per year in a regular programme of sales every Monday and Wednesday at BCA's Preston remarketing centre, with cars offered in-lane and via Live Online.

Meanwhile, Group 1 Automotive, which has worked with Manheim since 2008, will remarket 14,000 vehicles per year through Manheim’s auction sites in Colchester and Wimbledon.

Halliwell Jones sales director Jim Houghton said: “BCA combines great service and innovative technology to support our used car programme.

"The team at BCA Preston understand our business and go the extra mile to ensure we get great results. Working in a true partnership ensures we are focused on making the process as efficient as possible.”

Manheim’s managing director Peter Bell said: “We are thrilled to have renewed our long-standing partnership with Group 1 Automotive. We look forward to seeing our relationship with Group 1 Automotive continue to go from strength-to-strength.”

Group 1 Automotive’s managing director Darren Guiver added: “We have worked in partnership with Manheim for over 10 years, and have been impressed by the level of service, expertise and flexibility the business offers.

“This is an exciting time for Group 1 Automotive, and we believe Manheim is perfectly placed to support us as we deliver on our 2019 priorities, and continue to develop our remarketing programme.”

The agreements are the latest in a string of contract renewals and new business wins announced by both remarketing companies over the past 12 months.
