Academy Pro Leasing appoints Airmax Remote

Academy Pro Leasing has appointed Airmax Remote as its telematics partner to help track and trace vehicles.

The primary service delivered by Airmax Remote will be to provide conventional stolen vehicle recovery services, with support from its UK call centre.

In addition, Airmax Remote will provide full training to Academy Pro Leasing’s technicians who will fit the OBD (on-board diagnostics) device to the vehicles as part of the track and trace solution.

Academy Pro Leasing also appointed Airmax Remote being to provide additional security for the underwriting of those drivers considered a higher risk.

In addition to providing track and trace solutions, Airmax Remote specialises in providing integrated vehicle telematics services to corporate fleets, leasing and contract hire providers and emergency services.

Kevin Rodgers (pictured), head of lease and rental at Academy Pro Leasing, said: “Having worked closely with Airmax Remote previously, it was an obvious choice to join forces again using their British engineered technology to help keep our assets safe and enabling the business to offer the best customer service whilst driving down cost.”

Richard Perham, managing director at Airmax Remote, explained that the partnership with Academy Pro Leasing would ensure that the vehicles it leased will be “accurately monitored” and “prevented from being stolen”.

“In addition, the partnership with Academy Pro Leasing will expand over the forthcoming months expand to include a range of additional Airmax Remote solutions as the Academy Pro Leasing business grows,” he said.
