Fleet News has outlined the most important new models vying for the attention of fleet decision-makers, this year.

In our guide, there are details of 55 models due to come to the UK over the next 12 months, from 29 car manufacturers.

Two OEMs are making their debuts - Chery-owned Omoda and Jaecoo; two others are just entering their second year of sales in this country - BYD and GWM. All four are from China, with more brands waiting in the wings, including Nio, XPeng and Zeekr.

No surprise that full-battery electric vehicles dominate, accounting for 34 of the total. Many of the remainder include plug-in and hybrid variants, although there is a striking number of petrol and diesel powertrain options too.
