Free2Move Lease has become a supplier on the recent All Wales Framework Agreement.

The agreement has been established by the National Procurement Service, which arranges joint venture procurement frameworks for a range of goods and services on behalf of the Welsh Public Sector.

The company has been awarded a place on both lots one and two of the Framework Agreement. This means it will be able to tender for Welsh Public Sector Contract Hire requirements for cars, 4x4s and any commercial vehicles up to 3.5-tonnes gross vehicle weight (GVW).

Mark Pickles, Free2Move Lease general manager, said: “Gaining a place as a supplier on the All Wales Contract Hire Framework agreement is a major opportunity for Free2Move Lease to increase the size of our Public Sector fleet and to demonstrate what we can offer to a wider range of Public Sector customers, in what is a key target area for growth for us over the coming years.

“We look forward to working with the Welsh Public Sector to deliver the solutions they require.”

The agreement ensures Free2Move can also supply alternative fuel vehicles, hybrid vehicles and ultra-low emission vehicles, and fully converted vehicles.

The contract allows the company can bring its vehicle finance nous to the public sector client base in Wales.

This agreement is also shared with Local Authorities, NHS, emergency services, Housing Associations, Welsh Government and a variety of educational services.

Free2Move will be listed as a supplier on the Framework Agreement for up to four years.

Various transport options, a city travel app, car sharing, fleet management and multi-brand leasing services are just some of the services the company has launched since its 2016 launch.

This agreement follows its recent move to extend its short-term car rentals to its B2B customers.

Steps have been taken to provide up to 20,000 passenger and commercial vehicles to its customers across Europe.
