BCA has released a major change to its Buyer app with the introduction of live bidding from mobile devices.

The app is used by over 50% of BCA buyers, letting customers manage their purchasing with BCA, from any location.

However, the app now lets customers bid in its e-Auctions and purchase stock 24/7 with the app’s ‘Buy Now’ option.

Dene Jones, chief marketing and data officer, said: “The BCA Buyer app now allows our customers to bid in real-time on any BCA sale, meaning professional buyers can go from fingertip to forecourt via their mobile device.

“BCA is supporting the Buyer app with the power of accurate real-time decision intelligence capability that connects every aspect of buying and selling with BCA.”

App users can also see all the vehicles they want to bid on through one screen, with extended details, such as mechanical reports, condition reports and guide pricing, also available.

BCA’s app is free, and allows its customers instant access for their vehicle purchasing.

The company continues to update the app based on user feedback, with it hoping to provide the perfect go-to app for finding and bidding on vehicles.

BCA continues to work with OEMs, fleet operators and dealers, providing the UK private and public sector an automotive supply chain.

It also offers services for new vehicles, refurbishment, storage and logistics for the used sector, as well as remarketing and auction operation.

BCA recently extended its European remarketing partnership with Alphabet until the end of 2023, with the latter using BCA’s online platform.

The partnership started in 2014.
