The 1link Service Network fleet service and maintenance platform has been released in Denmark by Epyx.

Five major leasing companies are already planning to implement the platform, which is already used by fleets combining more than five million vehicles in the UK, France, Portugal, Australia and Ireland.

ALD and NF Fleet will become the first companies to use the platform in Denmark and early next year, will be joined by Alm Brand Leasing, Fleggaard Leasing and Jyske Finans.

Tim Meadows, commercial director at Epyx, said: “We are very excited to be entering the Danish market and working with both these leading leasing companies and their supplying garages.

“1link Service Network is a well-proven product developed over many years and we are planning to make the launch process as straightforward and simple as possible.

“We have been actively engaging with hundreds of garages to show them the many benefits that the platform provides and the reception that we have received has been very positive.”

ALD has launched a recruitment campaign, in which its suppliers readied more than 500 garages, with more to follow before the end of 2019.

It will use 1link Service Network to replace its in-house authorisation system, allowing for easy access, reduced administration, accurate invoicing, reduction in errors, comprehensive reporting and a total elimination of paper use.

The 1link platforms are designed to improve fleet efficiency, with functions including vehicle procurement, maintenance, hire, disposal and relicensing.

More than 18,000 service providers in the UK already use the platform.

At the end of last month, Epyx’s 1link Service Network service, maintenance and repair platform has recorded its 100 millionth fleet transaction today.

Its platform was launched in 2000 and processes around 14,000 jobs per day.

Epyx recently warned that the introduction of clean air zones (CAZs) could signal a significant rise in the number of penalty charge notices generated by fleets.
