Nexus Vehicle Rental has been shortlisted for ‘Logistics Partner of the Year’ in the Freight Transport Association’s (FTA) Logistics Awards.

Nexus was shortlisted for the award alongside three other businesses.

The rental company was chosen due to its “commitment to innovation, its industry-leading rental booking platform and for saving customers an average of 20% on their rental spend”.

Nexus Vehicle Rental’s chief executive David Brennan said: “To be shortlisted for such a highly competitive award is an honour and testament to the ever evolving and high quality service we offer our customers.

“We have enjoyed an excellent year with innovation at the forefront, offering flexibility with an industry-leading supply of vehicles, providing management information that allows customers to make substantial savings and committing to high quality customer service.

“Having already picked up awards in 2017 for innovation, customer service and our dedication to employee development, we are delighted to be in the running for yet another significant accolade.”

Earlier this year, Nexus won two Best Business Awards for Best Customer Focus and Best Innovation, as well as being named SME Employer of the Year in the BPP Professional Education Apprentice of the Year Awards.

The Logistics Awards 2017 will be presented at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane, in London on  December 13.
