Collision Management Systems (CMS) software-as-a-service solution (SaaS) can 'reduce claim costs by at least £1,600' by delivering real-time crash detection.

The company is positioning its SaaS product as an essential tool for insurers and commercial fleets looking to cut insurance costs using telematics data.

It says the potential savings are based on real-world results independently validated by Plexus Law.

Core to CMS’s solution is the ability to automatically identify and filter out non-crash events generated by third-party telematics devices or connected cameras.

This enables fleet and claims teams to monitor and act on collision alerts in real time without having to review hundreds of false alerts a day.

Rory Maher, sales director at CMS, said: "Our solution really resonates with fleet operators and insurers whose claim costs are rising despite numerous risk management initiatives.

"The sheer volume of data generated by telematics means most organisations rely on drivers to report claims before retrospectively looking at telematics or video data.

"This delay incurs substantial costs. With CMS, they can cut through data noise, action claims instantly and deliver considerable reductions in cost for their business.”
