Trakm8 will unveil the world’s first telematics vending machine at this year’s CV Show.

Visitors to Trakm8’s stand have the opportunity to use the vending machine to begin a 30-day free trial of Trakm8 Prime, the company’s self-install vehicle tracking solution designed specifically for small to medium-sized fleets.

The touchscreen vending machine will require visitors to enter a few details before dispensing a Trakm8 Prime device, which will be registered to their vehicle and available to use entirely free-of-charge for the next 30 days.

If visitors wish to purchase a subscription after their trial, they can keep hold of their device at a cost of just £12.99 per month for a 12-month contract. Customers can also add additional devices from their personal web portal if they wish to to introduce Trakm8 Prime to the rest of their fleet and can also upgrade to Trakm8 Prime Protect, which adds a dashcam to their package.

Launched in November, Trakm8 Prime allows businesses to track vehicles, monitor vehicle health, coach better driving behaviours and simplify mileage-related admin. Through its web portal and mobile app, SMEs can use the system to lower vehicle running costs, reduce the risk of breakdowns and improve the safety of employees.

Because it can be installed in minutes with no prior professional know-how required, visitors can begin using their trial device as soon as they leave the CV Show by following the instructions sent to their email address. Customers that register and install their Prime device before leaving the NEC and track their journey home will also be given the chance to enter Trakm8 Prime’s efficient driving competition.

The Trakm8 Prime device monitors the user’s driving style including speeding, harsh acceleration and heavy braking to help reduce risk and reduce fuel and maintenance costs.

Everyone who takes up a free trial at the CV show will have the option to be entered into a prize draw to win a brand new iPad.
