Online grocer Farmdrop has seen significant improvements in driver behaviour and efficiency after implementing Geotab telematics.

The company, which supplies local and sustainably produced food via an online grocery platform and mobile app, runs a fleet of more than 30 Nissan and Renault electric vans.

It has taken on the Geotab platform through LEVL Telematics, which is an authorised value-added reseller for Geotab.

It features a driver behaviour Add-On which enables Farmdrop is able to monitor electric energy use and increase driver engagement.

Mike Pearson, head of growth at Farmdrop, said: “LEVL and Geotab has helped us make our fleet safer and more efficient.

“Using the driver behaviour Add-On, we have seen a 33% reduction in incidents of poor driving per mile.

“We have also seen a 27% reduction in the kW/mile we need to execute our London, Bristol and Bath routes.”
