Direct Commercial (DCL) and VisionTrack have been announced as headline co-sponsors at the FORS Members’ Conference 2018.

The free to attend FORS Members’ Conference will take place on October 16, with FORS again choosing the National Conference Centre in Solihull as its venue.

This year’s conference theme is ‘10-years of evolving best practice’ and will the introduce version 5 of the FORS Standard.

DCL and VisionTrack will adopt a prominent position throughout the one-day conference and will be central attractions within the dedicated exhibition hall.

VisionTrack’s managing director Simon Marsh said: “We’re thrilled at the opportunity to support this key industry event

“As a FORS Associate, we share much common ground with the scheme and its principles.

"And, like FORS, our key focus is on safety – we’re passionate about it, in fact – and our products reflect our desire to reduce numbers of incidents and to promote more defensive and safer driving across the transport sector.

“A safety mindset behind the wheel goes a long way to boosting fuel economy and increasing overall operational efficiency.”

DCL’s head of agency and business development Adam Marsh said: “With the exception of fuel, insurance is arguably the largest single operating cost, and, with our Camatics product, we’re able to offer FORS members a significant discount on insurance costs alongside tangible benefits to boost long term productivity.”

The conference will see presentations and lively debate from leading figures representing a wide cross-section of the transport sector including Rob Flello, transport industry consultant and founder of the Parliamentary Freight Transport Group, and Peter Kay, head of learning & development at Tarmac.

It will be chaired once more by Brian Weatherley. Over 30 FORS Associates will present their products and services at a dedicated exhibition zone, much of which discounted specifically for FORS members.
