Enterprise Flex-E-Rent has announced the opening of a new branch in Ellesmere Port and the creation of five new jobs.

Located in an industrial estate near Junction 10 of the M53, the branch provides access to businesses and public sector organisations that require vans, trucks and specialist vehicles, covering the Wirral, South Warrington, Runcorn, Cheshire and North Wales.

At the beginning of this year, Enterprise announced the addition of construction trucks to its rental fleet, including 32-tonne tippers, hook loaders and tipper grabs.

Customers can access a range of commercial vehicles at the new location, from small vans to HGVs. The vehicles based on-site include dry freight and temperature-controlled trucks as well as tractor units, tippers and wheelchair-accessible minibuses. From this branch, Enterprise will also be able to reduce customer downtime with replacement vehicles and a team of mobile fitters.

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent’s managing director Danny Glynn said: “Our new location in Ellesmere Port adds another important link to our national branch network and enables us to better service customers in the region as well as national businesses that need vehicles in North Wales and the Wirral because of an accident or breakdown.

“Keeping drivers mobile means minimising downtime, which is a significant cost for any business operating vans or trucks. Replacement vehicles will be a key focus for the new branch.”

The new Ellesmere Port location of Enterprise Flex-E-Rent is being run by branch manager Jonathan Barker. However, the company is seeking to employ branch managers, customer assistance employees and drivers.
