Camera Telematics has announced the global launch of their enhanced Street Angel on-board video evidence data recorder.

The newly enhanced, fully scalable, Street Angel solution delivers fleet operators first notification of loss (FNOL) data in the event of an accident or incident on the road.

Camera Telematics developed the new Street Angel hub (named HBX4), whereby customers have access to a five-channel system, an increase of two channels compared to the previous version of Street Angel’s three.

Customers can now benefit from a full 360 degrees system to monitor cargo, vehicle side, reversing and driver angles, in addition to forward-facing.

In addition, the new hub can manage up to a 2TB HHD delivering up to two hundred hours of footage using 5 x FHD 1080p channels.

Street Angel is flexibly equipped for use by fleets operating a range of vehicles, including larger vehicles or vehicles working with high-value goods for asset protection, and presents fleet managers with robust FNOL and driver behaviour scorecards, it said.

The new version of Street Angel is now available globally and follows the successful launch of the previous Street Angel solution in Ireland in 2016, and the UK in 2019.

Mark Stamper, group managing director at Camera Telematics, said: “The enhanced Street Angel the on-board digital camera delivers fleet operators unbeatable peace-of-mind in ensuring safer driving associated with company vehicles, but also unbeatable protection against fraudulent insurance claims.

“Fleet managers who adopt Street Angel will have the utmost reassurance of having the most advanced on-board vehicle camera available, which unlike other cameras, uniquely delivers all the features demanded by fleet operators to protect their fleet on one device.”
