Middlesex County Cricket Club has entered a new partnership with Sogo Mobility to provide its players with cars via flexible leasing.

The deal means that overseas players can access a vehicle even if they are only in the UK for a few weeks.

Sogo has also renewed its partnership with the Sunrisers, London and the East’s elite women’s team as shirt sponsors.

The fleet partnership will see Middlesex players access a wide range of electric vehicles, as well as petrol and diesel models. All miles driven are carbon offset through the BP Target Neutral Programme.

Laura Angus, Middlesex’s commercial director, said: “SOGO is an ideal fleet partner for our club. It means that international players can drive a new vehicle even if they are only with us for part of the season. The ease of ordering a new vehicle sets SOGO apart.”

Karl Howkins, managing director of SOGO, added: “We built our business around offering businesses of all sizes the flexibility they need to operate efficiently. Our partnership with Middlesex Cricket will mean they can give their players access to a wide range of new vehicles, and be assured that they get the service they deserve.”

Sogo uses technology to provide a digital-led service that allows customers to order a vehicle in a matter of minutes. It operates nationally with a network of logistics hubs. Its customers can benefit from a subscription model that includes comprehensive insurance, maintenance, breakdown cover and flexibility.
