Alphabet has entered the Finnish market, adding Secto Automotive to its global partnership network.

With fourteen Alphabet owned locations and now nineteen partner locations, the leasing company has now established operations throughout most of Europe.

The continued expansion of Alphabet’s network, it says, means customers with subsidiaries and fleets operating in different countries will benefit.

“With Secto, we have gained a great partner to tune into the local needs and wants of fleets in Finland, as well as increasing the accessibility of our tailored mobility products and services in the region,” said Susanne Loser, chief sales officer at Alphabet International.

“We’re certain both sides will benefit greatly from each other’s network and capabilities, allowing us to support new and existing customers with a long-lasting partnership.”

Established in 2007, Secto Automotive is the biggest privately owned leasing company in Finland and the country’s third largest fleet provider.

With in-depth knowledge of the Finnish mobility market and strong relationships with small and medium enterprises well-established, the company is now looking to grow its business amongst larger corporates and private lease customers.

“The partnership with Alphabet supports our strategic direction, enabling us to leverage our expertise in fleet decarbonisation and offer customised solutions to a broader range of customers, not only in Finland, but beyond our borders too,” said Matias Henkola, chief executive officer at Secto Automotive.
